4Reel Fishing Charters goal is to show each and every one of our customers an amazing and unique fishing experience on the beautiful waters of the Florida Keys! Our most popular catch for this trip is the dolphin fish.
Fishing at ranges of 10-35 miles offshore of Islamorada open up opportunities at catching fish such as dolphin (mahi mahi), blackfin tuna, and wahoo. While different times of the year bring in different varieties of fish to capture, our most popular species we target offshore is dolphin. Aboard our 34ft Sea Vee center console boat, we benefit from the speed and ability to catch these fish using a run and gun technique as well as trolling. As dolphin tend to school up in the hundreds, they offer a great deal of excitement as usually everyone on the boat is hooked up! Often found at the surface under weedlines, debris, and birds, catching dolphin is a very visual experience as they jump multiple times once hooked! Catches in the 30-40lb range are a possibility when targeting dolphin as well as the potential bycatch of wahoo, tuna, and marlin. Join us aboard the “4reel” as we venture past the reef in search of the elusive pelagics that inhabit the waters off of Islamorada!
